Animation software maker Toon Boom Animation Inc. released two products for Mac OS X today: OPUS and Concerto. These traditional and digital animation production tools will be available for the platform in September of this year. The products offer integrated production workflow, 3D scene planning capabilities, compositing tools, seamless 2D/3D integration, and other features. "Mac OS X is the operating system of choice for creative professionals developing high-quality visual content, which makes it the ideal platform for Toon Boom to develop solutions that serve the needs of creative minds in the animation community," said Joan Vogelesang, the company’s president and CEO, in a press release.
