Speaking at a press conference in Japan, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has added doubt as to whether the next-generation console code-named Revolution will in fact be a successor to the GameCube, with suggestions that it will instead be sold side by side with the existing console. "A 'successor' is really just an issue about wording. Whether the Revolution is or isn't the successor to the GameCube isn't too important, but we can't say anything about that subject today," said Iwata. Further, concrete details on the Revolution are not expected to be revealed until E3 2004. Source: GameSpot
