Microsoft’s Xbox Division, Best Buy, and MSN have agreed to act as lead partners in their specialty areas (games, retail, and music, respectively) at the consumer electronic event show slated for New York’s Jacob K. Javits’ Center in October. Last week, convention host Ziff Davis Media announced it plans to launch a magazine series called “ExtremeTech,” which will be based on its popular web site, also in October. The magazine will cover advice for do-it-yourself technology enthusiasts. DigitalLife will be held October 14-17 and will underline consumer products aimed for big holiday season sales.
