In-game advertising firm Double Fusion has announced a sales partnership with Stockholm-based Karnig4media, who will now represent the company's in-game ad network in the Nordic region. The partnership with Karnig4media will extend Double Fusion's network to Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Iceland. Karnig4media represents digital media companies including Sky News, Times Online, Bloomberg TV, Business Week, National Geographic and Newsweek. Double Fusion says that €1 billion ($1.6 billion) of a €7.8 billion ($12 billion) Nordic media market is spent on digital media, and that the partnership will give it access to increasing digital media ad dollars in the region as the Nordic games audience grows. The in-game ad firm recently announced a partnership with Brothers In Arms creator Gearbox, and also holds deals with NCSoft, Eidos, and THQ, among others. Frank Sagnier, Double Fusion's European managing director, commented, "Scandinavia is a sophisticated and highly connected region with a booming games audience. This partnership provides us with the perfect platform to rapidly build and grow advertising sales within the territory."
