In-game ad network Double Fusion has announced a new deal with video game search engine Wazap.com to provide web outlets to its advertising and agency partners in addition to its PC, console, MMO, and casual game offerings. Double Fusion says the new site addition "extends Double Fusion’s reach to enthusiast gamers," and allows its partners to reach "the largest gamer audience through multiple targeted touch points including in-game ads, around-game ads and targeted gaming search results." Wazap has recently launched its US portal after establishing itself in Germany, Japan and China, where it currently boasts a worldwide audience of 16 million per month. The current agreement will begin with specifically North American advertisers and will later extend to European and Asian ad networks as well. Said Double Fusion president and CEO Jonathan Epstein, “The advertising community is investing in the gaming audience, and their best campaigns to gamers have included in-game advertising, around-game advertising, and targeted game community advertising – we’re now poised to deliver these integrated campaigns in a single buy to a huge gaming audience. Wazap!’s audience of enthusiast gamers exactly matches the profile of the in-game audience, and Wazap!’s targeting abilities allows us to target genres and even specific games in a way that perfectly blends with the in-game advertising program."
