Following 2005's special 'Sneak Peeks' session at the E3 Expo's conference, which included early looks at Ubisoft's King Kong, Activision's Call of Duty 2, and The Godfather from Electronic Arts the organizers have announced that this year's session will include peeks at three major new titles. The three panelists for the session will be Cliff Bleszinski, lead designer at Epic Games, and presenting the currently Xbox 360 exclusive Gears of War, Hideo Kojima, director of Kojima Productions, and presenting the PS3-exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4, and Xavier Poix, the managing director of Ubisoft's Montpellier and Paris Studios, presenting Red Steel, a Nintendo Revolution exclusive. According to the organizers, the session will see the "project leads discuss how they manage the game development process and how they cope with the needs of their team, their publisher, and the media", and will be moderated by veteran journalist and broadcaster Geoff Keighley. The E3 conference program, which will be held from May 9th to 11th, also includes exclusively panel-based topics such as "Creativity and Technology: Taking Control of the Next Generation of Gameplay," "Business Strategy: Embracing a New Set of Best Practices" and "Market Analysis: Understanding the New Digital Entertainment Landscape". On the game development front, The Sims creator Will Wright, God of War lead designer David Jaffe, The Movies' Peter Molyneux, Indigo Prophecy's David Cage, Junction Point's Warren Spector, and Half-Life writer Marc Laidlaw are some of the creative talent participating. From the business development camp, the program includes Lee Jacobson of Midway Games, EA Canada General Manager Alain Tascan, SOE President John Smedley, Pandemic CEO Andrew Goldman, Electronic Arts' Director of Videogame Advertising Julie Shumaker, and THQ VP of Global Business Development Dan Kelly. More information is available at the official E3 Expo website.
