Continuing their snub of Xbox Live EA officials have announced that four of its big name PS2 Christmas titles will also have an online element. They are: The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, The Sims Bustin’ Out, Need for Speed: Underground and Medal of Honor: Rising Sun. The Return of the King will offer a two-player co-operative mode; The Sims will also feature a two-player co-op mode, as well as an online trading system; first person shooter Medal of Honor will support up to eight players; while Need For Speed will allow up to four players to compete and will also be compatible with the PC version. All but Need for Speed will also support broadband-only real-time voice chat through a USB headset.
