Electronic Arts has announced the launch of a new line of casual titles from its The Sims label, called The Sims Carnival, which will feature Sims-themed casual titles available for download on EA's Pogo.com portal. The Sims Carnival SnapCity and The Sims Carnival Bumper Blast are the first two games available in the new Carnival line, and are aimed at players of all ages. SnapCity is a strategic puzzle title which challenges players to position falling colored blocks to assemble a city, and Bumper Blast is an arcade style action title where players take shots to clear Sims-themed bumpers. The Sims Studio head Rod Humble said, “We designed these pick-up-and-play games to be fun and entertaining, while still presenting depth in gameplay, long-term enjoyment and great value. Since The Sims Carnival SnapCity and The Sims Carnival Bumper Blast are available for digital download, the holiday shopper can avoid long lines and still share some fun with everyone on their list.”
