German-headquartered 3D game engine firm Trinigy has announced that it is founding a new Austin, TX office to serve as a sales and technical support office for its U.S. and Canadian development and publisher clients.
German-headquartered 3D game engine firm Trinigy has announced that it is founding a new Austin, TX office to serve as a sales and technical support office for its U.S. and Canadian development and publisher clients. Company co-founder and director of development Daniel J. Conradie, will be relocating to the Austin branch to serve as the Trinigy US's president and CEO, ahead of its fourth quarter 2007 opening. Trinigy's Vision Game Engine has already been employed by companies such as Atari, Take Two, NeoWiz, and Threewave in game development. According to the company, more than 60 titles globally have been built using the engine, covering an array of genres such as first-person shooters, role-playing games, and massively multiplayer online games. Said managing partner Dag Frommhold, “Expanding to North America was the obvious next step in our consistently customer-focused company policy. We are committed to supporting our customers all over the world as quickly and effectively as possible. With our US-based sales and support office, our North American customers will benefit from an even closer partnership with Trinigy.”
