Essential Reality, a developer of 3D control products for interactive gaming, announced that it will release the SDK for its new P5 glove-like peripheral next month. The P5 controls the action of 3D games via hand gestures by the player. For instance, you can pull your trigger finger in 3D space to shoot a gun in the game. The glove is a USB device that uses Essential Reality's proprietary bend sensor and tracking technologies. The P5 will be compatible with Macs, PCs, the PS2 and the Xbox. Software developers should contact Essential Reality at [email protected] to get their names put on the SDK distribution list.
