Last week was one of this year's busiest for game conferences, and Gamasutra scoured the nation, covering The Hollywood and Games Summit, Casuality Seattle, and the MI6 Game Marketing Conference. Thus, for today's main Gamasutra feature there's a comprehensive recap of the multiple write-ups for each event, also including brand new content. Among the highlights - an MI6 keynote with "director of Xbox marketing Chris Di Cesare... Gamasutra was there to record his thoughts on Microsoft's marketing challenges in launching the Xbox 360 and Halo 2", plus Casuality Seattle, which "opened with a keynote by Gordon, a co-founder and Chief Executive of Electronic Arts, on Tuesday, June 27 in Seattle, Washington. Gordon aimed to share lessons he feels the entire game industry can learn from casual games", and a new write-up from the Hollywood and Games Summit featuring "Treyarch Executive Producer Chris Archer (Spider-Man series) and Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige [on] 'Establishing the Buzz for Collaborative Franchises'." You can now read the full Gamasutra feature on the subject, including full details on more than ten conference features posted last and this week (no registration required, please feel free to link to this column from external websites).
