Gamasutra is launching exclusive coverage of the important SIGGRAPH 06 graphics conference from Boston this week, starting with coverage of the in-progress Sandbox Symposium event, focusing on a multitude of video game-related issues. The Sandbox Symposium is being held by ACM SIGGRAPH, organizers of the SIGGRAPH 06 conference that kicks off its 32nd annual show on Monday. Where SIGGRAPH 06 encompasses graphics technology for all industries, Sandbox focuses specifically on video game industry-related issues, including quality of life, education, design, and emerging AI techniques. As Gamasutra previously announced, audio from the event is being streamed live, courtesy of the Rochester Institute of Technology, meaning widespread access to some of the intriguing content showcased there. You can see the full breadth of our coverage, including news, summaries, and product announcements, at Gamasutra's SIGGRAPH 06 Event Page (no registration required).
