Game business event producer Connection Events has announced that Friday, August 31st will be the last date to register for the December 3-4 Game Connection Europe at the discounted rate, saving €350 for sellers and exhibitors, and €50 for buyers and visitors. The event, happening concurrently with the Lyon GDC in Lyon, France, will bring together game developers, publishers, distributors, outsourcing and animation studios, technology and tool vendors, and service providers. Companies taking part in this year's Game Connection include 1C, Activision, Capcom, Epic Games, Microsoft, Lucas Arts, Namco, Nintendo, Sega, SCEE, THQ, Ubisoft, and Vivendi Games. The Game Connection convention, which established itself as an independent entity in 2006, was started in 2000 by Lyon Game, an initiative of the Grand Lyon and the association Lyon Infocité, which federates more than thirty companies in the video game industry from the Rhone-Alps region. For more information on the event and to register at early rates, visit the Game Connection website.
