ZD Net Australia is reporting that the Canberra-based Academy of Interactive Entertainment will open a Melbourne campus next year—the organization’s second game development school. The state of Victoria will be contributing AU$150,000 towards the start-up costs. Interestingly, the year-long course has a workload of only 20 hours per week—with the express intent of giving “students enough time for freelance projects and other paid work while they study.”
