Austin-based publisher Gamecock Media Group has announced an agreement granting German publisher CDV Software exclusive rights to license, market, and distribute its titles in Europe. The deal - which includes games from the upcoming Gamecock line-up such as Insecticide and Hail To The Chimp - significantly broadens cdv (Sacred 2)'s portfolio of games due for release in Europe in 2008 and 2009. This follows Gamecock's recent announcement that it is working with Hamburg-based developer Replay to publish Velvet Assassin, previously titled Sabotage, a stealth game for the Xbox 360 and PC. Said CDV Software Entertainment AG CEO Christian Gloe: "We are thrilled to work with a renowned and successful partner like Gamecock Media Group. This agreement, which covers a very solid and diverse product portfolio, represents another step in the evolution of our business model.”
