Various online news sites are reporting the news that the GameCube will be dropped in price, in the US, to just $99 – the same price as Nintendo’s own GBA SP portable console. The move is allegedly scheduled for no later than the end of September, although Nintendo representatives have refused to confirm or deny that any such change in pricing is being planned.
