Alice and Bad Day LA creator American McGee has officially announced that his forthcoming fractured fairy-tale game Grimm will be published as a 24 part episodic series by Turner's GameTap, starting in 2008. After revealing a number of preview concept art pieces, McGee has announced the first details of the game on his weblog, which, as expected, will be a retelling of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales with the same dark overtones as his premiere PC game American McGee's Alice. Most interestingly, McGee has revealed that Turner's 'all-you-can-eat' game subscription service GameTap will be publishing the title over 24 episodes, much in the same way - but to a far greater extent - as it did the 6 episode Sam & Max series. McGee has also said that Alice head writer and executive producer R.J. Berg will be returning to work on Grimm in the same roles with McGee and his team at the Shanghai Spicy Horse studio, which was first announced late last year.
