Officials from Gametrac Europe have announced that its multifunctional mobile gaming device, currently named simply Gametrac, will be ready for release in the UK later this year. The machine itself was unveiled on Microsoft’s booth at the 2004 CES (largely as a consequence of it being powered by Windows CE). As previously reported the console will play games, has Bluetooth 2 functionality, GPRS, a movie and MP3 player, messaging facilities and a high-resolution digital camera. The console is powered by an ARM9 400Mhz processor (the same model, if not speed, as the main processor in the Nintendo DS) with a 64-bit graphics accelerator. Source: Gametrac Europe
