Jeff Huber, SVP of engineering at Internet giant Google, has joined Electronic Arts' board of directors, bringing with him extensive experience in online systems. Electronic Arts noted that Huber is the executive in charge of technology development for Google's AdWords & AdSense, as well as Google Apps, all key products for the major tech firm. Huber's 20 years of experience should come in handy as EA continues to develop online revenue streams, whether it be through advertising, subscriptions or paid digital downloads. EA said Huber's experience includes "large-scale systems design and operations, online consumer product development, and engineering management." Prior to Google, Harvard-educated Huber served in management roles at Ebay and Excite@Home. EA CEO John Riccitiello offered, "His proven track record in technology and engineering will make him a strong addition to the board."
