Publisher Hudson has announced that the Bomberman Land series will continue on more platforms, with mini-game collections coming to North America in January 2008 to Nintendo's Wii Sony's PSP, along with a new sequel to its Bomberman Land Touch game for the DS. Hudson says each will bring three game modes into one on their respective platforms with a quest- and puzzling story mode, and mini-game modes for each, with 50 different games on Wii and PSP, and 40 for the DS version. A multiplayer battle pack mode will also be available on all three versions, with the DS and PSP ports supporting single cart/UMD play to share the multiplayer game with others. Said Hudson CEO John Greiner, “Gamers are going to be blown away by the sheer amount of content they get in the Bomberman Land series. Each version of the perspective Bomberman Land title is different, with unique mini-games, Story Mode, and features. With the success of Bomberman Live on XBLA, we knew we had to up the bar for the brand, and we believe this series truly is triple the fun.”
