Oxford and San Francisco-based animation middleware developer NaturalMotion, known for its Euphoria and Endorphin motion synthesis products, has announced that Leighton Webb has joined its executive team as vice president of business development for the games. Prior to joining NaturalMotion, Webb was senior VP of global content strategy and licensing for I-Play, and previously served as vice president of mobile at 20th Century Fox Mobile Entertainment, executive director of Vivendi Universal Games, general manager at AOL Games, and worldwide product manager at Ubisoft Entertainment. NaturalMotion recently released a new version of the Morpheme advanced animation system, and shortly thereafter announced it had added CCP Games (EVE Online) to its list of licensees. NaturalMotion CEO Torsten Reil commented, "NaturalMotion tries to attract the best and brightest because we're dedicated to advancing the technology that drives this industry. Leighton brings a wealth of professional experience and we're delighted he's decided to join the team."
