The IGDA has announced that its first ever IDGA Leadership forum will be taking place in San Francisco on November 8-9, focusing on "advancing the state of the art in game production and management," and keynoted by top BioWare and Stormfront execs. The forum will offer two tracks, a production track, which the IGDA says "will focus on the nuts & bolts of game production," and a leadership track, adressing "advanced team management and motivation techniques." As noted via the forum's website, the two forum keynotes will see BioWare's Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk giving a presentation entitled "Ultimate Objectives: Lessons Learned From Building BioWare," and Stormfront CEO Don Daglow presenting "10 Surprising Things for Leaders to Ponder on the Future of Games and Gamers." Other speakers for the forum will include: Mike Capps (Epic Games), Jamie Fristrom (Torpex Games), Tim Longo (Crystal Dynamics), Mike Swanson (Gas Powered Games), Tony Van (Ubisoft) and more. Registration and more information on the full program and its speakers are available on the Leadership Forum's website.
