Ignition Entertainment Chooses Hansoft For Workflow Management

Project management and QA tools vendor Hansoft says Ignition Entertainment has become the latest company to implement its self-titled workflow management product for an undisclosed product.

Project management and QA tools vendor Hansoft says Ignition Entertainment has become the latest company to implement its self-titled workflow management product. Hansoft is intended to make large development pipelines with distributed teams more manageable, and Ignition says that's what made it appropriate for its needs: "With projects spread across different time-zones and territories it was important for us to have a flexible system that was accessible to key personnel from anywhere in the world," says senior producer Anne-Christine Gasc. Ignition has produced only a few little-known budget titles itself, but it's known for publishing SNK's full lineup (Metal Slug, Samurai Showdown) in Europe. It's also published Vanillaware's Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Marvelous' Deadly Premonition, and will publish Marvelous' Arc Rise Fantasia in the U.S. later this year. Since Ignition's , however, the company has begun developing its own IP. Says Hansoft CEO Patric Palm: "The pipeline and workflow tool, that we introduced last year, has been a huge success among developers who previously struggled to manage complex, parallel, and nested flows of art creation."
