Organizers of the Video Games Live series of game music concerts have announced a new partnership with Final Fantasy focused "Dear Friends" concert bookers IMG Artists and the William Morris Agency for new European and Asian Video Games Live concerts. The Video Games Live series of concerts, put together by game composers Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall, has since 2005 performed in front of over 75,000 people throughout the U.S., England, Brazil, Canada, Korea and New Zealand. The concerts mix a live symphony orchestra and choir with a visual showcase of in-game footage and interactive displays of the various titles from throughout the history of games that the series focuses on. In preparing for its European and Asian tour for the 2007 and 2008 season, the group has announced a partnership with IMG Artists. IMGA previously aided in the booking of the 'Dear Friends' series of concerts, which focused on the music of the Final Fantasy franchise, as well as the previously covered 'Play!' concert series. Video Games Live's Tallarico said the global partnership with IMGA "will ensure our success on a much more rapid time scale than we had previously expected," and that bringing in both IMGA and the William Morris Agency is a "testament to the strong growth and rising interest for our show on an international level." Added co-creator Jack Wall, "Working with IMG Artists in Europe, Asia and Australia is very much taking us to a new level on our quest to be a perpetual world touring entity. We know that there is strong interest for what we are doing in these territories and IMG Artists will be helping to get us there.”
