Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
The Independent Games Festival is gearing up for its 6th annual event, to be held next March at the Game Developers Conference, and with the growing number of entries each year, more judges are being sought.
For the 2003 event, the IGF had a jury of approximately 30 judges. This year it would like to reach 50-60 judges, comprising professional game developers and members of the game media. The judging period lasts from September through November (initial round), and again from January to early March (final round). During each round, judges evaluate 10 games. If you are interested, contact IGF Chairman, Alex Dunne, and include a brief bio of yourself. The IGF is produced by the Gama Network, which also produces this site.
