In unexpected news officials from French publisher Infogrames have announced that shares in the company have been suspended before the opening of the Paris bourse today, pending a statement from the company. The company, which now trades almost exclusively under the Atari banner, refused to reveal any further information but speculation is already rife of a takeover or merger.
