Independent developer Zootfly appears to be back on track with its game adaptation of television program Prison Break, originally being produced for now-defunct Brash Entertainment before the publisher allegedly defaulted on payments. Now, entertainment company Koch Media has announced a deal to license the Prison Break property from Twentieth Century Fox, and publish Zootfly's Prison Break through game publishing label Deep Silver for unspecified consoles and PC. The Brash-published incarnation of the title was originally announced as being scheduled to ship in February of this year. No updated date was given for the Koch take. Since Brash Entertainment shut down, the Prison Break series completed its fourth and final season. The game is set during the events of the show's first season. Asked Fox Licensing senior vice president Gary Rosenfeld, "Who doesn’t love the thrill of a prison break? It’s a great basis for any video game." Zootfly is well known to many gamers for video footage of its unlicensed Ghostbusters game adaptation, which Terminal Reality -- developer of an official Ghostbusters game -- claimed helped its title to gain internal traction.
