After the excitement last week, of GameCube hardware sales beating out the PS2, things are beginning to settle back down to normal in the Japanese charts. In hardware sales the GameCube gained only 17.81% of the market this week, compared to 30.93% for the PS2 and 49.71% for the Game Boy Advance. Software sales were still buoyant for Nintendo format releases, although the latest Gundam game from Bandai went straight in at number one - becoming the most successful title yet in the series.
