Things have gone from bad to worse in the UK games market this week with some of the lowest unit sales for years. Even the entry of TOCA Race Driver 2, straight into the number one spot, has proved a hollow victory for Codemasters, with the game achieving the single lowest unit sales for a number one title in the UK, since summer 2002. There seems little hope of ending this trend in the immediate future either, with the May release schedules appearing almost as barren of big name releases as April.
