The US charts in July were dominated by sports simulations and Activision’s Spider-Man 2 titles. The PlayStation 2 version of NCAA Football 2005 was the top-selling title, with over half a million units sold. Interestingly on the Xbox, rival title ESPN NFL 2K5 outsold NCAA Football by a significant margin. The only other new entry in the top ten was Namco’s Tales of Symphonia –- an impressive feat for a Japanese role-playing game on the GameCube.
