According to the latest US PC sales data Halo has enjoyed a late surge of interest to claim the number one spot from last month’s Jedi Academy – which has fallen all the way to number eleven. Online RPG Final Fantasy XI has done well at number two, but Activision will be disappointed with the performance of Call of Duty – which also fared relatively poorly in Europe. The first console releases in the franchise next year will indicate whether the title itself is not appealing to customers or whether perhaps they have finally become bored with the glut of recent World War II titles.
