Leipzig Convention Announces Asia Conference

Organizers of the Leipzig Games Convention have announced that Singapore will host the first GC Asia Conference (GCAC), devoted specifically to Asian developers, will be taking place alongside Games Convention Asia on September 6th and 7th.

Organizers of the Leipzig Games Convention have announced that Singapore will host the first GC Asia Conference (GCAC), devoted specifically to Asian developers, will be taking place alongside Games Convention Asia on September 6th and 7th. Leipziger Messe International is co-organizing both GC Asia and the GCAC, which will be hosted at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre. The conference will include international lectures and workshops on current topics in the games industry, as well as up-and-coming issues, with a focus on Asian themes, including the methods of entering the Asian and European markets. Said GCDC director Frank Sliwka, "The GCAC is a fantastic opportunity to promote communication between developers and publishers in Asia and Europe, as well as to boost knowledge transfer. Using our know-how, we plan to help the conference establish itself as the most important developer platform in Asia."
