Officials from LucasArts and IGN/GameSpy have announced a multi-title, multi-platform technology licensing agreement between the companies that will affect titles including Star Wars: Battlefront and Star Wars: Republic Commando. As part of the deal IGN/GameSpy will supply LucasArts with four distinct SDK toolkits that integrate with the company's games to provide matchmaking, community, administrative and networking functionality. In addition, IGN/GameSpy will offer LucasArts consulting and beta testing services. Source: dBusiness News
