LucasArts has announced a new multiplatform title based on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. Krome Studios will develop Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, which will release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS2, Wii, PC, DS and PSP. Republic Heroes follows a new storyline set amid the events leading up to the TV series' second season, incorporates the same visual style, and lets players fight as both Jedi Knights and Clone Troopers in 30 missions. Lucasfilm Animation's Singapore game studio will tackle the DS edition, which promises an "expanded storyline" featuring events and battles from the animated series' first season.
