Representatives from third-party accessory manufacturer MadCatz have announced that net sales for the company’s first quarter ended June 30 increased 40.8% to $17.8 million. Gross profit for the quarter rose 91.1% to $3.2 million. The company’s EBITA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) though was -$1.4 million, compared to -$1.0 million for the same period last year.
