Majesco Entertainment (Cooking Mama, Zoo Hospital) has announced a version of casual PC nanny simulation Babysitting Mania for Nintendo DS, in development by casual studio Gogii Games (Puppy Luv, Kitty Luv), due for a Fall 2008 release. The title is based on a PC game, the sequel to Nanny Mania, which Majesco says has been downloaded over 7 million times. Babysitting Mania features over 100 levels challenging players to feed, entertain and clean up after kids of varying ages in 20 chaotic houses. Majesco EVP of operations Gui Karyo commented, "Babysitting Mania brings the fun and excitement of this universal teen occupation to the DS. This dynamic task management game will keep even the oldest babysitter on his or her toes."
