After having its attempts to break into the Japanese and Korean markets continually frustrated Microsoft director of Xbox operations in Asia, Alan Bowman has confirmed that Singapore has become the center of new plans to establish the Xbox brand in the Far East. The company plans to establish a series of ‘X-Arcades’ next year for consumers to preview new games, play online and purchase products directly. The Xbox Live service is also due to start in Singapore in spring 2004.
