Starting this week, Microsoft is selling an Xbox 360 Elite holiday hardware bundle, including two games and a 120GB hard drive for $300. The package includes a black Xbox 360 console, a wireless controller, and one copy each of Traveller's Tales' LEGO Batman: The Videogame and Black Rock Studios' PURE. Coming later this year is a $60 wireless controller bundle, which also includes a two-day Xbox Live Gold trial as well as the Xbox Live Arcade games Ms. Pac-Man, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2, Bomberman Live, and Lumines Live. Some Xbox 360 system and game bundles have featured higher-profile games in the past -- earlier this year, Microsoft released a bundle with similar features as well as Bungie's Halo 3 and Lionhead's Fable II. That package was priced at $400 at the time, but with Xbox 360's recent price cuts, it now sells for $300, at least at outlets that still have it in stock. Still, there's no price premium put on the new bundle over the standard Xbox 360 Elite -- it too retails for $300.
