N-Gage Set for Japanese Release

According to comments from a Nokia representative at a conference in Tokyo the company’s N-Gage cell phone/console hybrid will be sold in Japan, despite incompatibility problems with the country’s cell phone network. Further details were promised at the Tokyo Games Show and it may be possible that Nokia will be promoting the hardware purely as a games machine in an attempt to woo Japanese developers.
