Uncharted 2 developer Naughty Dog is getting new digs -- "a bigger, better kennel," as it says. On March 1, the team is trading up to a larger work space 500 feet away from its current office. "We’ve built out our new studio from a raw and open floorplan to a killer new studio that provides us with more flexibility in space, layout and adjusting to fluctuating staffing needs – not to mention there are some significant upgrades to help us keep developing cutting-edge, award-winning games," says the studio in a statement on its official site. Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells adds that the new space “positions Naughty Dog perfectly to adapt to the demands of developing PlayStation games that continue to raise the bar for our industry for the next decade and beyond." The developer has seen recent success with the October 2009 launch of Sony's PlayStation 3-exclusive Uncharted 2 -- recently revealed to be the platform's fastest-selling first-party title with 3.5 million units sold to date. Uncharted 2 also led 2009 in accolades and critical acclaim, with one of the highest Metacritic scores ever for a video game, victory at DICE's AIAS awards and dominance among BAFTA nominees.
