Officials from independent game company NetDevil have announced a continuation of the company's previously revealed expansion plans by opening a new new 30,000 square foot facility in Louisville, Colorado. “The new office is right acrss the street from the company's existing space,” a NetDevil representative told Gamasutra. “You could literally walk between the buildings without too much trouble.” The news follows statements made by NetDevil president Scott Brown in December 2006, at which time he comments that the company was well underway to doubling its Colorado based workforce to just over 100 employees by the end of the calendar year. This latest opening, which coincides with the company's 10 year anniversary, will be commemorated by an open house event for the media on Friday, June 22, during which NetDevil will showcase a playable demo Warmonger, an upcoming first-person shooter designed to take advantage of the AGEIA PhysX processor. The event will also host a first look at the upcoming retooled version of NetDevil's vehicle-based MMO Auto Assault, as well as the latest game in the long running Jumpgate franchise, a title that was hinted at in December, but has not yet been officially announced. No mention in the announcement was made of the recently confirmed LEGO-based massively multiplayer online game, and a NetDevil representative told Gamasutra that “in all likelihood this game will not be shown during the event.” "We couldn't be more thrilled to host this event in honor of our 10th year anniversary, and the long awaited opening of our new office," said Brown. “The opening of our new offices will help us expand our capabilities, make way for new talent and growth, and give the NetDevil family, our partners, and our friends in the media and video game industry a chance to see first hand what we're up to. We think everyone is in for a pleasant surprise."
