Utah-based tools developer Nevercenter has announced the release of the latest version of its 3D modeling software, Silo. Called Silo 1.3, the software includes a Topology Brush, a pen-like tool used for drawing topology over geometry. The tool allows modeling tasks to be taken care of more efficiently, by allowing the sketching of lines directly onto the surface of modeled objects. Silo 1.3 also sports a number of other features and enhancements, including smooth, slide, path selection, and partial loop selection functions, in addition to speed enhancements, stability updates, and more. Silo 1.3 is available for Windows 2000 and higher operating systems, as well as Mac OS X 10.3 or higher operating systems. A single Silo license allows an individual to use Silo on up to three computers, which can be any combination of Macs and PCs
