Speaking at a recent ELSPA conference, David Gosen, head of Nintendo of Europe, has admitted that the company is currently working on another next-generation Game Boy console. This is expected to be a direct successor to the current Game Boy Advance and separate to the forthcoming Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS was originally announced as being an entirely separate product to the Game Boy, but the fact that it will play Game Boy Advance games has lead some to believe that the company may be considering branding it as a Game Boy console after all.
