According to a questions and answer column in Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream the Nintendo DS portable console will be playable at this year’s E3 in May. Previous statements from Nintendo representatives on what exactly will be shown of the machine, which is still scheduled for a world-wide release this year, have been noticeably ambiguous up until this point. The column also indicated that the company does not expect to cut into the market for its Game Boy Advance SP with the DS, the hope being to present games on the DS that are distinct from the software available for other hardware. Finally the company indicated that it is considering a large public exhibition this year in Japan – possibly another of its irregular Spaceworld events, last held in 2000. Source: 1up
