Nintendo Logs 27 Fiscal Year Million-Sellers

During Nintendo's most recent fiscal year, the company said today it logged 27 titles that broke the million mark, citing an array of both old and new games such as Pokemon Platinum, Wii Fit and Wii Music.

Nintendo's first-party strength was once again apparent in its unit sales figures for the fiscal year ended March 31. During the most recent fiscal year alone, the company was able to log 27 titles across the Wii and DS that sold over one million units, the company revealed today. On the Wii, Wii Sports and Wii Fit led sales during the current fiscal year, while the aging Brain Age and New Super Mario Bros. continued beat out newer titles. Nintendo said yesterday that overall, the number of million-selling DS titles, including both first- and third-party software, climbed to 91 during the fiscal year, up from 57 the previous year. Million-selling Wii titles climbed to 54 from 26. Below are the life-to-date sales and fiscal year sales of first-party games that managed to break one million units during the year ended in March: DS: Life-to-Date (Fiscal Year) 1. Animal Crossing: Wild World - 10.79 million (1.26 million) 8. Super Mario 64 DS - 7.5 million (1.38 million) 9. Mario Party DS - 5.85 million (2.22 million) 10. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - 4.5 million (2.92 million) 11. Pokemon Platinum - 3.75 million (3.75 million) 12. Kirby Super Star Ultra - 2.36 million (2.36 million) 13. Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia - 2.04 million (1.5 million) 14. Rhythm Heaven - 1.92 million (1.92 million) 15. Personal Trainer: Cooking - 1.84 million (1.84 million) 16.
