Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
The IGDA announced that the next election for its board of directors will be held at the Game Developers Conference in March, and the association is soliciting nominations for three seats on the board.
Nominations are open to all IGDA members, and must be submitted by Tuesday, February 18th. If you would like to run for election, send an email with your complete contact information to Jason Della Rocca no later than February 18th. You should include a statement of up to 400 words concerning your candidacy, which should include something about your background and experience, and should describe your intentions and priorities for the association. This statement will form the basis of your candidacy, and will appear on the IGDA website. The candidates who are elected will serve two-year terms, beginning May 1st. More information about the election can be found on the IGDA web site.
