Nvidia today announced the availbility of Detonator FX Release 45.23—the latest driver for its new FX line of Geforce and Quadro graphics cards. According to the Nvidia press release, this driver “is the Futuremark recommended driver in order to get an accurate 3DMark03 score” and it delivers “a significant performance increases, improved image quality and an innovative user interface” The release of this driver appears designed to address previous concerns that Nvidia’s previous drivers were inappropriately optimized for the Futuremark 3D benchmarks.
