Nvidia has introduced two chips for laptops, the GeForce FX Go5600 and Go5200, with which the company hopes to challenge ATI's dominance in the laptop market. Nvidia said that the chips have been shipping in sample quantities to laptop makers over the last month, with retail availability expected next month. The chips feature a number of improvements over its prior mobile processors, the GeForce4 Go series, including DirectX 9 support and support for high-definition TV output.
