SCEE officials have today announced that over 150 million PlayStation 2 games have been sold in Europe, since the console's launch in November 2000. Additionally, a record 25 million discs have been pressed this month at manufacturing plant DADC. Despite slowly falling sales in the US and Japan, this is yet more evidence that the European console market is still buoyant – although this is largely due to the consoles simply being earlier in their lifecycle.
