When the PSP Go launches October 1 in North America, a total 16,000 pieces of content will be downloadable for the system -- including 225 games, from full PSP titles to PlayStation Network exclusives, UMD games and Minis. According to consumer news site IGN, Gran Turismo, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and God of War: Chains of Olympus are some key titles available on the system's launch day. Consumers will also be able to buy in-store voucher cards for full downloads of titles including Daxter, Patapon 2, and Twisted Metal: Head-on, among others. The big launch-day content figure also includes 2,300 downloadable movies and 13,300 television episodes, says the report. One feature that won't be available is the ability for prior-gen PSP users to trade in physical UMDs they own for digital versions. Although Sony had been exploring a method to enable conversions, the company confirmed last week that legal and technical constraints make it impossible.
